Grass Harvest Has Begun

Grass harvesting for the Biogas has started. With just short of 75ha to be foraged the next few days are going to be busy. Yields are around the 40t/ha mark which is fantastic but as a result it has meant the need for extra tractors to be brought in to help haul the crop. No rest though for the land, as green goes to brown ready for the maize to be drilled tomorrow. Fingers crossed the rain stays away and we can get the whole crop in and sheeted in time before Thursday. Pressure is on!!!
