Aylsham Growers Renewables Ltd (AGRL) was formed in 2012 to supply maize feedstock for a local anaerobic digester (Oak Grove Renewables) based at Scottow. The Company comprises of a number of local growers all of whom are within a 7 mile radius of the plant and whom have a keen interest to grow and supply a stable market with maize feedstock for conversion into electricity and heat. Run as a co-operative venture this is managed under the close eye of Russell Corfield (Manager) who is responsible for finding the land, sourcing seed and fertiliser, getting crop drilled with their Vaderstad Tempo drill as well as ensuring crop is harvested on time.
